Lulu's Story...
Hello!! My name is Lulu!! I am a 3 year old tricolor beagle girl!! My sister, Libby (aka Dixie) and I were both at a shelter in New Mexico. The folks at the shelter contacted Arizona Beagle Rescue to see if they might be able to help us. We had been given up by our owners and no one was adopting us. And the shelter got full and they were about to put us to sleep!! So AZBR made arrangements to get us here to Arizona. And we are just two very happy girls!!!

They know very little about us, but as soon as they find out more, they will post our pictures and some info about us. I don't know if we will need to be adopted together, but AZBR will let you know!! Please check back to check us out!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
