Savannah's Story...
Savannah has a special $150 adoption fee this month! She is an especially pretty and colorful greyhound who is already completely house trained and already home acclimated. She has a very nice personality and is a playful, fun, and affectionate dog with very nice house manners. Savannah has been in a home as a pet for several years, but now needs to find a new home because her owners are moving out of state and cannot keep her. Savannah is listed as a "senior" greyhound because she is over the age of 7. She acts like a much younger dog and is an active and fun dog who is a joy to have around. Savannah has shown a tendency to sometimes try to chase very small animals, so she should go to a home with no small critters. Medium to large size dogs are fine. Savannah is social and sweet, a dog you can take anywhere and she will do well. She would also make a wonderful therapy dog to take to hospitals and assisted living facilities. Savannah walks quietly by your side while on a leash and rides fine in a car. While racing in her younger days, Savannah was known as"Passion Action". Savannah has been spayed, has all vaccines, is microchipped, and comes with her leash, collar, microchip, grooming mit, stuffie toy, and an Adopt-a-Greyhound tote bag. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Savannah, a Tampa Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
