Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sasha is a trusting 9-year-young former breeder with a sweet, "understated" personality. She's a very pretty tricolor pinner with traditional light butter/tan markings, but couldn't make up her mind whether to be black or chocolate, so she's both! They are evenly blended throughout a slightly furry coat (she came from the Ozark mountains). Sasha is a little cautious around people but willing to give it a try - she comes to you with tiny steps, tail wagging and head slightly bowed, and will raise up on her back feet for you to pick her up. She doesn't know how to settle in your arms and will be a little stiff, but the tail is still goin' and goin' and soon she relaxes. Sasha's very content to be in your arms, would be very content to sleep on your bed, and can be a little possessive of you! If another dog tries to horn in on the action, you'll hear a low growl, but she responds to verbal reprimand. Sasha is crate trained and coming along very well housetraining with our "pack." She is a little fearful of being isolated, especially at night - its the only time she barks. She's fine in the company of other dogs or people. Sasha is not yet leash-trained, she's just gotten used to wearing a collar and has no inclination to bolt. She goes out in our fenced yard long enough to do her business and wants back in with you! Or out with you! Wherever you are, she'll want to be there, better yet on your lap, but is never pushy about it. Sasha will be an endearing furever companion!
