Percy is a 9-month-old, Lab x Golden, who was given up because her family did not have the time to devote to her. Percy—and she is a female—is an adolescent dog who will need a lot of exercise to keep her happy and healthy. Since the Centre is quite full at the moment, one of our Volunteers is fostering Percy. Her foster Mom says that she is doing well insofar as her toilet training is concerned, but the family must be vigilant. She will need a home where she is not alone all day in order to continue her training and socializing. Percy is learning how to walk on leash without pulling and the ABC’s of good doggy behavior.. She gets along with her canine pals and is quite comfortable around children who treat dogs with respect. Percy should definitely be a candidate for obedience training classes. You will enjoy Percy much more if she is a well-behaved, obedient dog. Do you have the time and patience for an adolescent dog who is ready to discover the world around her?
