Timber's Story...
There are over 300,000 "Wolf-a-likes" in the United States. These are misrepresented animals sold to uneducated buyers who believe they are getting a wolf dog. Most are German Shepherd, Husky and Malamute mixes. With the laws against ownership, many of these "faux" wolves wind up being put to sleep. The wolf sanctuaries are overflowing and most shelters are not allowed to adopt them out. It is our goal to get the word out about the breeders selling misrepresented animals by preying on people's emotions. We are also accepting donations for our wolf-a-like adoption program and sanctuary for the true wolf dogs. We are currently seeking sponsorship for the beautiful boy pictured. Contact us for more information. Thank You!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber, a Cabool German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky for sale in Cabool, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Cabool.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cabool already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cabool breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cabool paves the way for another one to be saved.
