Born around June of 2008, Simon and Anna began their lives outdoors, but were taken in by ARCF when they were about five months old. Since then, they have learned all about the joys of indoor life. They are each other's best friend, and are looking for a home where they can always live together.
Both Simon and Anna were shy when they first came to ARCF, but they have made huge progress in trusting humans and enjoying being spoiled. They look forward to finding a permanent home with experienced cat people who will patiently give them the time and attention they need to continue to blossom.
Anna greets her foster mom each day with a quiet meow. She loves to be petted while she lies on her cat tree, rolling over for belly rubs periodically. While she doesn’t exactly seek out cuddles, Anna likes to circle her people for drive-by pets and rubs. She is interested in watching birds and squirrels from her window and even says hello to the cats that walk by her window.
Simon has the overly handsome good looks of a chocolate Siamese but doesn’t seem to have a Siamese personality, as he is quiet and not very talkative. Simon still keeps to himself a bit, but will accept a cuddle now and then. He loves to plant himself near his foster mom or in his green tube, where he is happy to accept pets and love. Simon loves his toys and likes scratching on a newly cat-nipped scratching post.
It has taken Simon and Anna some time to learn to play but now they simply love to jump and swat at flying toys. They enjoy playing together and can often be found hanging out on a cat tree together.
Simon and Anna are good eaters and appreciate their daily doses of wet food and will eat pounce treats out of your hand. They have impeccable litter box habits. They are also lovely adolescents: past the crazy kitten stage and are ready to settle into a calm, patient, and loving home.
Simon and Anna, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been spayed and neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets.
