Jo Jo update's Story...
UPDATE>>>>Jojo was taken to the vet today for his dry skin, and his age has been updated....my vet thinks he is around 5-6. He has no eye aging or arthritis.<<< There I was, walking all around in NYC with mats and fleas...it is a noisy and large place for a little dog like me! Luckily, a nice person came to get me off those mean streets and into the shelter. I did not like it there either! Now I am comfortably resting in a foster home in RI...so glad! I have the sweetest temperament (or so they tell me) and weigh around 11 pounds. I have curly fur, which will grow out...they had to shave me, you know. I am fine with other non-aggressive dogs and older, respectful children are fine too. My fee of $325.00 covers all vetting to date and a collar and leash as well. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, Cape Cod or are near the Boston, Worcester or Litchfield, CT areas. Please call Judy at 401 647-0513 with any more questions. Would love a fur-ever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jo Jo update, a Foster Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Foster, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
