Ralph's Story...
Introducing Ralph. Ralphy is a 5 month old chocolate Lab mix puppy. Ralph is a very sweet boy. He is a very typical puppy who loves to play and explore. Ralph is currently living with 4 other dogs and 3 cats and is doing very well with all of them. He also gets to go to daycare with his foster mom a few times a week and loves playing with all the other dogs. Ralphy is looking for a forever home that will continue his socialization and he would love to go to obediance classes to learn a few new tricks. He is a very smart boy and is already learning some commands. Ralph is crate trained and house broke.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralph, a Rochester/Buffalo Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
