***March 4, 2006 Update: Greta will be featured on Fox In The Morning this Friday, March 10, 2006 as pet of the week.

Greta was born about January 2nd. We're not yet sure what mix she is but she has German
Shepherd in her.

Greta is sweet and laid back for a puppy. She likes to sleep on laps, which won't be possible for long. She wants to be near the people but is very good at entertaining herself. She has already learned that cats are NOT play toys (although they were very, very kind to her: no one used a claw. They understand "baby"). She likes other dogs. She likes EVERYTHING! She's also cuddly and likes to be held, cuddled and kissed. She is already being house trained.

Greta is current on all her shots and will be spayed prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
