Romeo's Info...

Romeo's Story...
Romeo is a handsome pure bred American Staffordshire Terrier who is 5 years old and was recently surrendered to the shelter. His owners said that they could no longer care for him.

Romeo, is a real lover. He is sweet and affectionate and does not have a mean bone in his body. He loves to play, go for walks and to run.

This is a well built, high energy, powerful dog who gets excited around new people. For this reason Romeo should be in a home with older children and adults only. He will make a great companion for the right person or couple.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Peconic American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Peconic, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Peconic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peconic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peconic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peconic paves the way for another one to be saved.
