Comet's Story...
This little dynamo is as fast as a comet and so his name was born. This fun looking tuxedo kitten born in mid-March 2010 was cared for by an elderly women with cancer who found the litter of stray kittens in her storage building. Comet is so cute and playful and he'll climb right up your leg if you let him. He likes being held, but loves running after toys even more right now. You can tell right away he has a big personality in that little body. Check out his sister Cupid--what a cute pair they'd make adopted together!
Comet is up to date on his shots, is housebroken and well socialized with his litter mates. We'll even cover neutering when he reaches 6 months of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Comet, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
