Tobie's Story...
Hi there My name is Tobie (with an 'ie' cuz I am not just your ordinary guy!) That's right, there is something extra special about me. I am gentle and sweet, calm and laid back for my age. I will be a wonderful family pet for some very lucky family. I am smart and eager to learn. I just wanna make you happy. I do well with other pets and am crate trained. I am a perfect age to learn all the other important stuff us doggies need to know. I am a nice size, not too big and not too small at about 55 pounds. I have a beautiful soft fluffy black coat with white tuxedo markings. A handsome boy ready to be part of your family. 10 months old-55lbs. My adoption fee is $150 and includes adoption supplies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tobie, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
