FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO MEET MAX, PLEASE CALLl (928) 358-2759.

Max, the Malamute mix needs a new home, preferably one with prior malamute experience. Max is a neutered male about a year-and-a-half old. He is very affectionate and loves to be with someone if at all possible.

Great with children—my daughter hugs his neck and plays with him all the time. He is completely gentle. Max does great with any other dog. He has tons of energy and stays close by me when outside the fenced in area. Loves to play chase. He could make a great therapy dog—he will put his front feet on the bed when asked and stay there to be petted for a long time. He is doesn’t lick much at all. He could easily pull a sled.

Max needs exercise and mental stimulation as do all Malamutes. He can climb a fence if bored. He will get into personal items for chewing if left unattended.

Very easy to care for. Keeps himself quite clean.

His owner is seeking a great home for this great dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max (Courtesy Listing), a Phoenix/Tucson Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix/Tucson, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix/Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix/Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix/Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix/Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
