Lincoln's Story...
This is Lincoln. He was turned in to a kill shelter with his 9 other brothers and sisters! Thankfully two rescue groups stepped in to save this adorable litter of pups. Lincoln doesn't look like ANY of his siblings, and probably had a different daddy. As best we can tell, he could be an Australian Shepherd mix or possibly a flat coater retriever/newfie mix. What we do know is that he is absolutely adorable!!! He has the softest fur and is very fluffy. He loves to be loved on and seems to have a very cute personality. We will update his bio more, but our main concern right now is ensuring these sweet babies are healthy. Lincoln will be neutered and have his age appropriate shots prior to adoption. If you are interested in Lincoln, please request an application from us at forrescuetn@gmail.com
Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lincoln, a Norwich Australian Shepherd/Flat-Coated Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Norwich, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Flat-Coated Retriever puppy from a breeder in Norwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
