Hi everyone! My name is LIL' DUDE! (my street name is LD) You guessed it.....I am a little dude. I am 1 year old and weigh about 9 lbs. I came to Friends of Penny from Michigan! That's right...I am a Yankee! I have had several homes in my short life. My last mommy loves me soooooo much....but her living situation changed and I couldn't continue to live with her in the situation she was in. It was a very hard for her to let me go, but she didn't have any other choice. In her quest to find me a good place to go she came across Friends of Penny and even though it meant she had to drive me from Michigan to North Carolina, she said it was worth the trip to make sure I found a very good furever family where I won't never ever have to leave again.
I am already neutered and am getting my vaccinations up to date on 2/28/06. After that I am ready for my new furever home. I am crate trained and also know how to use pee pads. I do well on a leash. I like to run and play with my furbrother. I am pretty well behaved but I need to work on my "welcoming" manners. I mean, when someone that I don't know comes to MY house, I will bark at them. And since I am quite the "ladies man", If a man comes into my house, I will REALLY bark.
So my foster mom says that obedience training will probably be good for me (and my new family). If there is going to be a man in my new furever home, please tell him that he may have to work with me a little...or give me a little time to "warm up" to him. I want to be good...I really do!
