Nola's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Nola's Story...
Nola is estimated to be about 6 months old and at the moment weighs only 30 pounds. She was surrendered by her owners when the local animal control authorities discovered poor Nola was not being fed nor had she received any vetting. Despite the rough start, this sweet girl is just filled with wiggles and kisses for everyone!

She does have a mild case of demodex caused by the mal-nutrition and stress on her petite body. Demodex is an easily treatable skin condition with a daily dose of medication. She is now spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. Please check back for more information and pictures of Nola! She is being fostered by Megan and Josh in Tallahassee, FL.

*We are not yet accepting applications for Nola as she is brand new to the program and requires some medical rehabilitation prior to becoming available for adoption.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nola, a Thomasville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
