Maggie's Story...
Maggie is just delightful. She is full of life, love and kisses! She will need a home where there is room to romp and play and because she is so bouncy would probably do better with older children at the risk of knocking younger ones down. She adores attention and anyone willing to give it to her.

Maggie was confiscated by the police and her owner was tried and found guilty of animal cruelty. She was literally being starved to death! She is gaining weight and is getting better every day. With a good round of obedience school behind her, you will find that she will be learning and getting better every day. Give Maggie the chance she deserves...Love her, don't make her wait too long.

Your best (and fastest) option is to contact the shelter directly:
Edgar County Humane Association Inc.
Paris, IL
217-822-PETS
echaparis61944@hotmail.com
or Chris at clawsonkc@verizon.net

Calling is always preferable to emailing, as shelters are often understaffed and time is virtually ALWAYS of the essence! A phone call to the shelter can make a life or death difference!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Various Locations Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Various Locations, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Various Locations.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Various Locations already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Various Locations breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Various Locations paves the way for another one to be saved.
