My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ursula is adopted....We are very proud to introduce Ursula to you, which means LIttle She Bear. What a great name for a wonderful young lady. Ursula a very sweet 1 1/2 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing around 14 pounds. Ursula came to us from a high kill shelter in Southern Illinois. We don't know why she was given up because she is a great little dog, and she is little

Ursula is housetrained, loves to snuggle, she's not afraid of people and she's extremely affectionate and friendly. Ursula enjoys giving kisses, adores everyone she meets, and her little tail is always wagging. She is a beautiful, loving dog, that would make a great addition to any family. We aren't really sure when, but at some point her tail was cropped, which is pretty common among Jack Russell Terriers.

Ursula is currently being fostered in a home in Naperville with children, other dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. She is wonderful with all of them, especially the puppy who wants only to play with her, and she allows the kittens to rub against her and sleep with her. Ursula is wonderful around children. Her little stubby tail wags at lighting speed when she sees my daughter coming to pet her. She is really a wonderful, friendly, family dog.

Ursula's adoption fee is $250.00 and includes her being spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for distemper, advenovirus2, parainfluenze, and parvovirus, rabies vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated for Bordetalla (kennel cough), treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, mites and heartworm, a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic on Weber and Caton Farm Road and all of our dogs/puppies receive a free 30 minute evaluation with a certified pet trainer at Petco.

Ursula is fully vetted, houstrained, ready to go to her new home and just waiting for you to love her as she will love you.

If you would like to meet Ursula, please go to angelsonwheelsanimalrescue.com and complete an adoption application. You may also call Susan at 630-863-3474 with any questions or email sspratl@gmail.com for an application to be emailed to you. We are a foster based organization which means all of our animals are cared for in peoples' homes instead of waiting at a facility to be adopted.

Our web site is updated regularly, so if you see a dog posted here, most likely, he/she is still available.
