found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
Mia is a cuddlebug who wants nothing more than to sit by her person’s side (or in their lap!)
We estimate Mia was born in February 2009, so she is about 1 1/y years old now. She has a medium length black coat with hints of brown and weighs about 50 pounds. She appears to be a lab/pit bull mix.
We pulled Mia from a shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding.
Mia is now living in foster home while we search for her forever home. She gets along perfectly with other dogs and is very beta. She is pretty low energy and doesn’t need a whole lot of exercise to keep her happy. A couple walks or a play session at the dog park and she’s good for the day! She wants nothing more than to be with her person and loves curling up and cuddling. She is good on a leash, rides perfectly in the car and seems to be excellent with kids.
She is a bit fearful of new things so her adopter needs to patient and show her that things like sprinklers or sliding doors aren’t going to hurt her. She has gained quite a bit of confidence since being in her foster home, though she is still a little timid in new situations. Once she is comfortable and her person shows her there is nothing to be afraid of, she is perfectly fine. After about 5 minutes in a new place she is confortable and she shows her sweet and goofy personality.
Mia is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. There is a $175 adoption fee to help pay for the cost of her care.
