Penny's Story...
Penny is Chloey's baby. The only one that came to the shelter with her. Her photo here shows how long and wavey her fur is. She is a tiny girl, less than 10 pounds now, and believed to be the product of an accidental breeding with an AKC Cocker. Requested donation for Penny is $225. She will be ready for Easter delivery. Penny is only 6 weeks old. She will be vaccinated at least twice, dewormed and fully vetted here. Her spay will be partially reimbursed if the vet here does not think she is old enough before homegoing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Buffalo Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
