Chief's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chief's Story...
Chief was rescued from an animal control facility that will not adopt out pit bulls. If you are looking for a gentle giant, then Chief is the dog for you! He is extremely easy going, well behaved and laid back. All he wants to do is hang out and lay at your feet. Chief is great with other dogs, big and small and is also good with cats and kids. He is housebroken and while his foster dad goes to work, he is left out with free roam of the house and is a perfect house guest - never chewing or getting into anything. He walks well on the leash and when you stop to cross the street, Chief will sit politely at your side. He rides well in the car and will curl up in the seat and take a nap. No doubt someone put a lot of work into raising and training this great dog. Chief is about 2 years old, around 60 lbs, neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Please email us for an application if you are interested in adopting Chief.

Chief, a Reisterstown American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Reisterstown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Reisterstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reisterstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reisterstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reisterstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
