Here's what the humans have to say about me:
9/15/2010: Brad's foster mom recently updated us and said that he comes when called, loves to stay close to his person, and listens very well. He is great with other dogs as well and is not the alpha at all. His foster family has been using praise as a training tool and that is working very well for him.
Brad sleeps in his kennel at night without a problem, although sometimes fusses a bit at first. He has not been destructive in the house, although he does like to check everything out! He loves to occupy his time with a bone or ball occasionally.
8/5/2010: Brad's foster mom says that he loves people and playing with other dogs. He is a dog that did not learn house manners in his prior life and so she is working diligently with him as this is a new world for him - finally being able to be in a home with people who care about him.
Brad is eager to please and should be a fast learner with consistent and calm leadership. Stay tuned for more updates from his great foster family.
Brad is a miracle boy. He was literally saved on the day he was supposed to be euthanized. He looks so afraid in the shelter environment, don't you think? This boy is sweet and deserves a chance at life, like SO many of his friends. The over-population problem in the south is just mind-blowing, and it's not the dogs' fault.
Please let us know if interested in fostering or adopting Brad or any of his four-legged friends. We need you so we can continue to make a difference.
You can find more info on our website at www.luckypuprescue.org. Our adoption fee is $300.00 and the dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered and transported to New England for you.
