Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome boy has been through the ringer. He was surrendered to a shelter and tested heartworm positive. He has successfully gone through treatment and will be good as new shortly. Now he is looking for a new family, a forever one this time!
He is VERY sweet and smart. He listens well and knows sit, stay, wait, leave it, fetch, drop it, and he's working on kennel. He's doing well with other dogs and he LOVES to play with a tennis ball. Buddy is a little too interested in cats and rabbits and will need a home without "prey" for him to chase.
Now that he can be active again, Buddy is working on leash walking - he uses an "EZ-Walk" harness and is doing well. He loves his humans and is a busy guy - he would love to join your active family. Buddy is housetrained and crate-trained.
You can see more info on our process and fees at our website, www.luckypuprescue.org. Our adoption fee is $300.00. We are hoping to bring Buddy north in July if we have an open foster home. Please consider joining us as a foster family!
