7-17-10: We just received this great update from Tucker's foster mom: "If you're looking for your new best friend Sebastian is the dog for you. He is not only gorgeous but he is an absolute love. Tucker is a fun loving, playful, active dog with just a touch of mischief in his eye. Loves to chase the ball and go tearing around a fenced in yard. Loves to play with other dogs, but is still working on his social skills and can be a bit overwhelming for some ..he is young and smart so he will get it. All dogs have personalities but Tucker has a giant one. He is a little shy at first but once he gets to know you he will be your best bud. After he has had his play and exercise, when it is time to quiet down for the night, he is a total love bug and just wants to cuddle. Whether you get on the floor or he happily gets on the couch with you, he will snuggle up and put his head on your shoulder. Out of all the foster furries that have stayed at my house, Tucker by far will be the hardest to give up! He will be a great companion to his new furever human!"
6-3-10: Tucker is a volunteer favorite at our partner shelter! In fact, one of the volunteers calls him "my sweetheart"! He is so handsome - he has a coat the color of maple syrup and gorgeous almond-colored eyes.
Tucker was found stray and is one year old. He is such a gentle soul - Tucker was very shy when he first came to us, but has blossomed with the care and affection from the volunteers who care for him every day. He is just a love - always ready to be hugged and cuddled and have belly rubs.
Tucker is very well-mannered. He enjoys walks and really shines at playtime, where he loves to fetch and play ball. He gets along well with other dogs (he has had play dates with some of our other shelter sweeties), and the shelter will have to test him with cats.
Tucker is an eager-to-please dog who should be easy to train.
