Darla's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Darla's Story...
Darla was so shy when we first saved her life from the high kill shelter. It was obvious that Darla's younger life was not so comforting; however, she now has learned that all humans are not abusive and she has given back tenfold in gratitude and love toward her human friends. Darla just smothers you with kisses, she loves to run and play and looks like a professional track star. Her white coat is so polished aligned with her shiny black markings. Darla is a true sweetheart and would love to have some human children to spoil and love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Sherman Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
