Chester's Story...
Sweet Chester's previous owners turned him to the pound where, through no fault of his own, he was destined to be euthanized. The reason his owners gave for turning him in was that they could no longer afford to care for him. Chester is now seeking a family who can promise to commit to him for the rest of his life, no matter what happens. After being abandoned, he deserves nothing less! Chester would love a home that allows him to play and relax kitty-style, with lots of windows to lay next to and cat-trees to climb. Chin scratches and kind words are a MUST for Chester! In return he'll sleep next to you to keep you warm, greet you when you come home from work and play to entertain you. He is a chatty kitty that thrives on human attention. He loves his new best friend Bullet. He's taken a Father role and showing Bullet the ways of the world. We would love these 2 to go together (although not necessary) so Chester can continue to Nurture his little brother! If you're seeking a sweet feline companion, please consider showing Chester that humans can be good.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Scottsdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
