Tabitha's Story...
Tabitha has the most brilliant emerald-green eyes we've ever seen on any cat - her photo doesn't do them justice! But if you look even closer, you'll find a brilliantly sweet, gentle personality in this great girl. A Paw Placement volunteer found Tabitha when she was probably not far from starvation. She was emaciated and lactating, but her kittens were nowhere to be found. Fortunately, Tabitha doesn't have to be all alone in this world anymore. We've promised to find her the perfect home- for Tabitha, that would include a family who cares about her unconditionally and who promises to keep her safe for the rest of her life. Tabitha is not fond of felines and would probably do best in a quiet home with older children (if any). She'll play with you in the afternoons, then curl up with you at the end of the day. Please consider giving Tabitha the security of a forever-home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tabitha, a Scottsdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
