Lucy's Story...
My name is Lucy. I'm a 6 yr old very active girl. I am super-sweet and love to give hugs and tiny kisses. I am happy curled up pretty much anywhere that is comfy. I'm very thorough when checking out new things, and a little jumpy with loud noises. I have a very tiny nub that is barely there but if you look close, you can see it wiggling. I'm good with other dogs and I love getting a bath. If you are looking for the perfect dog, that's me. Check me out at www.cbr.homestead.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a W. Columbia Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in W. Columbia, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in W. Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in W. Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a W. Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in W. Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
