Sue's Story...
This is Sue! She was just found tied behind the vets office in Marseilles on 7/06/10. Can you believe someone would abandoned such a sweet girl as this!!?? She is a little shy right now probably because she is still scared of all she has gone through this week. But she is still pretty friendly and social. She seems to be a little quiet and she is very gentle. She gets along well with the other dogs and has not been tested with cats yet. I hope we can find a home for Sue soon, I feel badly that she was abandoned like this by her previous owners, she does not deserve to live in a cage like this. Please come by and meet her. I am not sure if she is a pedigree Manchester Terrier or not. She is in the Marseilles office, please call 815-795-2100 to make sure she is still available before you go. THANKS!! We think she may already be spayed, but the vet still needs to check to make sure.

PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION Before the dog can be adopted he or she will receive the required vaccinations and will be spayed or neutered. They will be checked for parasites, heartworm, fleas and be treated if necessary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue, a Ottawa Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier for sale in Ottawa, or seeking a Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Ottawa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ottawa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ottawa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ottawa paves the way for another one to be saved.
