Cluckers's Info...

I am a special needs pet and in need of an experienced adopter.

Cluckers's Story...
This is Cluckers! He was found stuffed in a box with his brother Freckles along the Fox River. He is about 10 weeks old. He does have some sort of neurological damage. We believe he may be a CH kitty (cerebellar hypoplasia), from his symptoms. It doesn't seem to stop him, he plays and acts just like any other kitten, he just falls a lot. He is just so cute and I love his coloring. The reason he is named Cluckers is because he pecks at his food like a chicken. He is just so totally adorable and I believe he needs a special family to adopt him and accept him for the way he is. I have attached a short video of him, so you can have a better understanding of what I mean by a CH kitty, on PETFINDER. Also here is a link explaining what being a CH kitty means. http://www.chkittyclub.com/ He is currently at our Marseilles office so please call to make sure he is still available before you go, 815-795-2100.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU EMAIL ME FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. Before the cat is adopted he or she will be spayed or neutered, receive all the necessary vaccinations after being tested for FeLV/FIV, checked for parasites and fleas and treated if need be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cluckers, a Ottawa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ottawa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ottawa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ottawa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ottawa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ottawa paves the way for another one to be saved.
