Willie's Story...
Hi there, my name is Willie. My foster mom says that I am an incredible little fellow. I have lived at the dog pound, been neutered, and been treated for heartworms, but I am still a happy, sweet fellow. I am really a lay back JRT. I don't really bark, don't get overexcited, and don't growl and carry on. I do like to go outside and sun myself. I really like walking around the yard and seeing the birds on the birdfeeder, would really like to chase them, but I am still having to be kind of quiet after my heartworm treatments. Dr. McGarity in McConnells said I really need to take it easy for about a month. Foster mom says that I will find a wonderful home, where I will be loved, and can sit on the sofa with my person. I would really like to get petted a lot and get tummy rubs. I would love to meet you. Please contact my foster mom at her email address deborahfulton@hotmail.com . Be prepared, she really likes to brag about me. Thanks, Willie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willie, a Thomasville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
