found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Catz Jazz Rescue assists as many unfortunate & abandoned cats as possible, while advocating the message of compassion towards animals and responsible pet ownership. Catz Jazz strives to be one of the best Austin cat rescue operations by providing comfort & care for each and every animal coming into our rescue with consideration of their individual situations. Our goal is to find life-long companions for the rescued cats in our care.
Read about Bella: My name is Bella and I was adopted from Town Lake Animal Center (TLAC) when I was about 10 weeks old and then I was returned to TLAC 2 years later when my previous people moved and did not want to take me with them, abandoning me along with another cat they had also adopted from TLAC approximately two years ago. (Shame on you people wherever you are and whoever you are!)
The rescue people at Catz Jazz and the nice lady that saved me have explained to me that they are going to be looking for a new human for me to enjoy life with. (Note: This is a lifetime committment folks! These animals depend on us to love and care for them ALWAYS, not just 'till it suits our lifestyle or whatever lame excuse people throw out there like what was done to Bella.)
The rescue people say I am a very loving and beautiful cat who deserves better and that they will not be satisfied until they are able to place me in a FOREVER home, and I hope that really happens for me since I took the abandonment to heart and was depressed for some time. I now know that I absolutely do not need nor deserve any more folks dumping me. I just want to have a good life together with my forever person.
I would love a forever home where I can lay in a sunny window, or relax on your lap while you read a good book! I am super affectionate and I love to snuggle and sit on laps. I am healthy and spayed and would also like to be just an indoor cat and be waiting for you when you come home. The rescue people said that I am a gorgeous gal, sweet and awesome, and I don't really know what all that means, but if it means you might want me, and you are willing to provide me a home, please contact them to set up a meet/greet with me! Thank you for reading about me!
Bella's estimated D.O.B. is Mar 11, 2008
Dated added: 5/20/10 Photos current as of: 7/22/10
Bella has passed a vet exam, is up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccinations, has been treated for any medical needs, given preventative treatment for internal parasites/fleas, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is litter-box trained and has been spayed. Now she just needs a forever home!

Donate a Kuranda cat bed
If you can't adopt Bella, would you consider donating a Kuranda cat bed to her while she waits for her forever person to find her?
Our rescued cats love to sleep on Kuranda cat beds because of their orthopedic comfort and we love them because they are stackable, allowing high perches for shy cats while increasing the amount of floor space, but due to our already constricted operating budget, we just don't have enough for everyone to sleep on.
When you donate a Kuranda cat bed to us, you will give an Austin rescue cat a place to sleep in comfort and have a bed to dream on while they patiently wait for their forever home.
We also gratefully accept donations of much-needed items from our
A husband, father, brother, friend, and neighbor who lives in our community, is in dire need of our immediate help! At the beginning of July 2010, Chris Blankinship, a trusted and caring volunteer with Catz Jazz Rescue, was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Astrocytoma (grade III). This is a rare (about 4% of the population), life-threatening, rapidly-growing, malignant tumor. Due to the nature of this specific tumor and it's location, the only available treatment possibilities are very limited clinical trials (experimental treatments) for chemo and radiation treatment possibilities that will easily exceed the tens of thousands of dollars mark. We believe that with prayers, positive energy and strong willpower, and the financial help from compassionate supporters who are sympathetic to his plight, we can give Chris a chance to opt for those treatment possibilities, but time is of the essence! Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is so greatly appreciated by his friends and family. We humbly ask for your support. Can you please help?
