My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tootsie is a 5 1/2 yr old mini (possible toy) Aussie, she stands about 14" tall. She is a black tri (docked tail) and just as cute as a button. Tootsie weighs about 19.5lbs, she's a little girl. She is a little on the shy side at first but warms up quickly. She follows me all around the house and then settles at my feet.

She was a little growly with my dogs at first and if they got in her face she'd snap but they all knew to keep their distance and she was fine with that! She plays with them now but also can be a little snarky at times. She would prefer a home with no other dogs or a dog that is playful and submissive. I was told by her former owner she does not like cats. Tootsie rides very well in the car and seems to enjoy it, she'll jump right in! She walks fairly well on a leash. I think small children would be a bit overwhelming.

You should see Tootsie rip around the yard! She then runs to the water bowl and starts digging in it, water everywhere...it's a mess but it's so cute! I decided to get out the wading pool, she will go in it and start digging in it and then just lay there like AHHHHH. She loves it!

Tootsie is also a great sleeping buddy. She lays in one place, doesn't move around and is very content to sleep with you (and she doesn't take up much room!). She would make a nice traveling companion, nice and portable.

Tootsie is fostered in Deltona.

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (over 10 yrs $125.00), this helps cover some of the dogs expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccinations, heartworm tested and on preventative. You must be willing to travel to the dog to meet/adopt .
