Daisy's Story...
Hi, my name is Daisy! I am a 5-year-old Chihuahua in search of a family to call my own. I am super sweet and docile and seem to be very quiet. I love to be with my friend, Tati and would really like to be adopted with her, but I can go to a home without her if necessary. I love to be cuddled and held close. I have the sweetest brown eyes and am told I am an absolute joy to be around. I am very well behaved and seem to learn quickly. I need a family that will adore me and give me all the love and attention I deserve. I am a timid little girl and am my foster mom's little shadow! I walk nicely on leash and go to the dog park every day! I stick right beside my foster mom's ankle at the dog park and am shy with new friends. I will make a great addition to whomever adopts me.

Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $400 for adults, and $450 for puppies. Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide). If you are interested, please submit an adoption application - http://www.littlemuttsrescue.org/adopt/index.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Calgary Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
