Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Hi! I'm Mia. I love to roll around in the grass, go for car rides, & swim!"
Mia & her four puppies were on the brink of starvation when they were rescued by a Vancouver family vacationing in Mexico. They were 4x4-ing along a river when they spotted them. Thankfully this family stopped and picked up all the dogs to get them help at the nearest vet clinic. (Which our rescue partner in Mexico operates.) This family also fostered all the dogs for the duration of their vacation AND transported them up to Vancouver! (You can view their pictures on our Facebook group page.)
Once in Vancouver, Mia had to have one of her front legs amputated due to an old injury that was never treated. (She was probably run over by a car.) BUT she has fully recovered and you would never know she only has 3 legs by the speed she can run!
All of Mia's puppies found forever homes and now it's her turn! If you would like to meet Mia, please fill out an adoption application at, www.penniesfordogs.org/adoption_application.html
Mia would benefit from training classes & her adoption includes free classes!
