This sweet young man, Booj had a share of bad luck recently. After his owner died, the son dumped Booj at a kill shelter, as it so often happens in life. Booj followed around the son in the shelter and greeted cheerfully everyone he met on his way. This boy not only lost his "dad', he nearly lost his life, he was rescued the very last moment.
Booj has a very sweet temperament and loves meeting new people and distributing kisses to his rescuers. He also enjoys car rides, especially sitting next to the driver and distributing kisses on the hand and face (he is a qualified makeup remover). Booj, our Mr. Charming, is very enthusiastic about company and attention and is learning that it is not polite to jump on people. We are working on his obedience. Booj is submissive around other dogs, he currently lives with two dogs in his foster home. We have not had him around cats. He is also doing very well with housebreaking (he is crated when unsupervised).
Booj tested positive for heartworm. Over the past two months he completed his heatrworm treatment and he is as good as new now. He is happy to be able to run and play and he is one happy boy. Booj is up-to-date on shots and he is also neutered.
It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children, no exceptions. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption. If you can offer sweet and friendly man Booj a loving forever home, please submit an on-line application by
