Here's what the humans have to say about me:
July 2010: Izzy is a much-loved member of her family but one of the children has developed allergies and she can not stay.
Izzy is approximately 1.5 years old and she is a beautiful lab mix and a true little love. She enjoys her people; Izzy prefers to be walking with her family or lying quietly at one's side. Izzy lives with one adult and 3 teenagers ages 13-17. She quickly attached to everyone in the family. Izzy makes her daily rounds with each person, sharing her joy and enthusiasm quite readily. The home is full of visitors, family and friends of all ages are often around. Izzy will bark at new people, however is quick to settle down once you thank her for the protection. Hats on men seem to extend the barking time, if the hat is removed she becomes curious to meet the guest. While Izzy has not met a lot of infants or toddlers, the ones she has met she has treated with kindness and respect.
Izzy is about 53 lbs, is dark brown with a white marking on her chest. She is healthy and strong, and up to date on her immunizations. Izzy knows the basic commands; sit, down, off, stay, and come. She is an expert at come, as she so likes to be with her people. Izzy is electric fence trained and leash trained. She enjoys going for rides.
Izzy is a low to medium energy girl, and prefers to be inside the house when just hanging out. Izzy gets along well with every dog she has met, eagerly engages in play with new and old friends alike. Izzy has lived with 3 cats. She enjoys spending time sniffing the ones who will tolerate her. Izzy enjoys her canine brother very much, living together beautifully.
Izzy is a gem of a dog. She will make a wonderful addition to her new family.
