Gulliver's Story...
Gulliver is 13 lbs of chocolaty goodness with a mask that is liberally sprinkled with light-colored hairs. His size and dark coat remind us of a lounging grizzly bear. He’s calm, quiet and definitely loves to eat. He would like to have more playtime to help shed a couple pounds! He enjoys brushing and non-sweat inducing sessions with the "Cat Dancer" toy.

If you are interested in learning more about Gulliver, or know someone who might be interested, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or 312.855.1225, or Lisa Ward at eward@spencerstuart.com.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at eward@spencerstuart.com to learn more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gulliver, a Chicago Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
