Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Aunt Bee. I don't remember how I got to Brew but I'm very thankful I did! See, I'm a heartworm survivor. That means my previous owner didn't give me the important preventative medicine I needed to keep those bad worms out of my hart. So Brew took me to the Dr and they gave me treatments. Then I moved into a foster home where I had to take it real easy. I didn't mind though, I had a nice comfy bed and a chew bone to keep me occupied. I have to admit though, some days I just wanted to take off running in circles because I got to feeling better but I was a good girl and did exactly what the Dr told me to do so now I am all better. But it is very important to keep me on heartworm prevention the rest of my life.
As you can see I'm just a little gal. I don't even attempt to jump up on the furniture, so a home with a very soft puffy bed would be nice. I would also love to go on walks. I don't go very fast, I like to do a little sniffing along the way. After all, I am a beagle! I enjoy the company of other dogs but the bigger ones make me a little nervous, they look like they could mow me right over for pete's sake. Now about my meals. I love food! Foster mom breaks my treats in half because she says I should watch my weight. I guess because I'm 25 pounds and only 13 inches tall.
Besides going for walks, I like car rides, sunbathing, and now and then I carry a toy around. I use a doggie door to go out to potty and snooze in my crate when no one is home.
There are many different types of homes I would fit well in apartments, homes with yards or homes without a yard. The important thing is I have a human to love me forever and take extra good care of me. So just let the folks at Brew know if you would like to get to know me better.
