Fonzie's Story...
Almost Home is proud to introduce FONZIE!! Fonzie has come to us from our local pound. Fonzie is a very sweet dog with a tendency to be shy. He ignores the cats, likes to play with his foster brother George, and when he's tired he goes in the open crate for a power nap. Fonzie is learning his lesson's very well. He knows how to sit, shake and has recently learned how to walk on a leash. Fonzie is getting big and is patiently waiting his new forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fonzie, a Murfreesboro Great Pyrenees/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie for sale in Murfreesboro, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Murfreesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Murfreesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Murfreesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Border Collie breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Murfreesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
