Jackie's Story...
This group of cuties was destined for the Walmart Parking lot to be given away when they were surrendered to the rescue. Their mom was a golden retriever but as you can see, they look nothing like her. There were apparently several different milkbone salesmen in the neighborhood that can claim fatherhood to the pooches! They're happy go lucky, love squeaky toys and do fine with kids, cats and dogs alike. They're 8 weeks old (early July) and have had two sets of puppy shots. Due to their young age they will not be spayed or neutered prior to adoption and their new family will receive a 50$ rebate when they have it done at 6 months old. Low cost voucher information is provided in their medical folder!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie, a Spring Valley Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
