My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nicky is a super-friendly young lady that is an adorable mix of greyhound, lab and terrier. She was found as a stray in a rural Virginia county and was taken to animal control when her owner could not be located. The local humane society saw what a sweet personality she had even in spite of the shelter environment and got her out of there as quick as they could. We stepped up to the task of finding Nicky a real forever home and she has truly been a welcome addition here at Cedar Farm. She is always cheerful when people are around, wagging her tail a mile a minute and ready, willing and able to lavish numerous doggie kisses in greeting. Nicky is crate-trained and housebroken, great on leash and absolutely wonderful in the car. She is good with other dogs and seems to like our cats just fine. Nicky has been spayed and is up-to-date on her shots. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is also microchipped with registration included. Nicky weighs 46 lbs. and is one year old. If you are interested in adopting Nicky the first step in our process is the adoption application which we can send you by request.
