May's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

May's Story...
May is a small Border Collie mix and weighs about 20lbs. She is very timid, obedient, and sweet with fur as soft as silk. Aprefers a house with a doggy door to a fenced back yard because she is still too afraid of the outside world. This makes things pretty easy if you don't feel like walking the dog... In time, however, she will become more accustomed to her new life and will probably be interested in new adventures. for now, all she wants is a face to kiss and a hug to receive. May is spayed, current on her shots and microchipped. Her owner committed suicide and she has gone through a lot of trauma. Please show May that life is woth living. Go to www.hugadog.com/sacr to complete an application on line. Adoption donation is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

May, a Lomita Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
