Ace's Story...
DOB May 3, 2010. Ace was rescued from a high-kill shelter. He was sitting all alone in his microwave-sized cage when a hopeful foster mom picked him up and saved his life. Who would have known that this unassuming little 8-week old would be the most affectionate kitten ever?

Ace gravitates towards his people, wanting to be held and snuggled at any spare moment. He easily curls up into a ball and nestles into you. During his playful hours he is a powerhouse of energy and loves wrestling and romping about with his foster brother Desi (also available for adoption). His favourite spot is the window sill where he dozes on his hand-made blanket.

Ace would be a wonderful addition to any caring home, but would love another furry friend to play with!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Toronto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
