Tater's Story...
Tater is a loving crazy young guy. He is over a year old, but is pure kitten. He loves to run and play, chasing balls is especially fun. He plays hard with other kitties and sometimes forgets that hands are not toys. He thinks snuggles are great too, once he is finished playing of course. Tater would love have you come in and play a nice game of ball with him. Please stop by S.A.R.A.'s Treasures at 871 River Road in Eugene any day between 10am and 6pm to meet Tater and all of his rescued adoptable friends. Tater and all of SARA's rescued cats and kittens, are indoor only. They all have been spay/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, current on vaccines, Microchipped, and much more ...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tater, a Eugene Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eugene, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
