Cooper's Story...
Hi, my name is Cooper and I cannot hear. I can see, love, eat, play and everything else a normal dog can do, but I am deaf. Don’t feel sorry for me, sometimes this is a real advantage. You know how you have those annoying people that you wish would just quit talking, I can’t hear them. Unfortunately, I can’t hear the ones I love either. I was surrendered to CAAWS because my previous family was expanding and they didn’t have the room or time for me anymore. I am a male Boston Terrier born on 6/25/04, I am up to date on shots, neutered and tested negative for heartworms. I love playing with other dogs and love playing tug-o-war. I would be a great pet to add to your family, just understand that unless you get my attention, I won’t come when called if I’m looking in a different direction or in a different room.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Baton Rouge Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
