Anna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Anna's Story...
Anna is a smallish (32lb) 2-year-old, Staff Bull Terrier who came into the city shelter as a "stray" after recently having a litter of puppies. Anna is an EXTREMELY loving dog. Very devoted. Listens well. Totally housebroken and easy to manage and walk. Anna loves to hang out with her person more than play. She loves to sit quietly in your lap. She is friendly around other dogs and did well on her behavior tests at the shelter. "Sits" on command and comes when called. Anna is a very good dog who would do well in a city apartment or country home with kids. Currently, we are urgently seeking a foster or adoptive home for Anna, as we promised to get her out of the AC&C shelter by 4-7-06. Can you help? To know Anna is to love her. If interested in fostering or adopting this fabulous dog, please call (212) 427-8273. We promise you will be happy you did!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a New York Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
