About Cats In Need Yorba Linda
About Our Rescue Group...
Cats in Need is a 100% non-profit/no-kill animal rescue group located in the Orange County region of Southern California. Cats In Need Yorba Linda is one of several chapters of Cats In Need. We are based out of the Yorba Linda PetSmart, with adoption shows most Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Cats In Need is completely run by public donation with 100% of supplies and 99% of monetary donations going to the cats. Donations of any kind are gratefully accepted and are tax deductible. We can always use toys, food, litter, beds, carriers and of course money!
Mailed donations can be sent to: Cats In Need, PO Box 2204, Orange, CA 92859 or you can donate online via Paypal (http://www.catsinneed.com/locations/yorba-linda/) Donations can also be dropped off at our shelter in Petsmart.
Cats in Need is totally volunteer run, so volunteers are always needed and welcomed. We need help with cleaning cages, socializing shy kitties, bottle-feeding baby kittens, fostering cats that are ill, injured or have been in the cages too long, fundraising, newsletters and laundry duty. Call the Cats In Need hotline at 714-744-4911 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or come down to our adoption show to talk with the site supervisor.
Come Meet Our Pets...Our adoption shows are Saturdays and Sundays from noon till 4pm at the Yorba Linda Petsmart
Our Adoption Process...
All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for Leukemia and Aids, given shots, de-wormed, and de-flead prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary. Please contact us for details.
Adoption process includes an application and interview.
Cats in Need is a cat adoption agency, and not a “pet store,” “kennel” or “breeder.” We do not “sell” cats.
Our kitties are like family to us, and it’s important to our foster families and to our organization that each cat be matched with the right home, not just any home. Cats in Need does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, creed, age, national origin, ancestry, pregnancy, marital status or parental status, sexual orientation, or disability. Each individual application is considered for the best fit for the cats and the family.
