Jerry's Story...
Jerry is a beautiful three year old Mantle Merle Great Dane. He has been raised and trained by a professional trainer and is reliable on or off lead. He has good house manners and crates easily. Though excellent with ALL, his energy level and play style make him a poor candidate for living with other dogs and cats (he won’t bother caged critters), hence his need to be rehomed. His ideal home will have a firm leader with previous giant breed experience, children over 5 feet tall (he’s a happy guy with a very happy tail), no other pets and a fenced yard for him to run. He is a great dog and is loved by all who meet him. Jerry has been neutered, has had his stomach tacked, and is up-to-date with routine shots. Please see the description of medical services provided below. CONTACT MICHELLE AT 847-567-6000 FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO MEET JERRY.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry, a Woodstock Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
