Sunny's Story...
Did you say, "OH what a beautiful dog? Thank you.... I am part yellow lab and part something very soft. I currently live in the house and sleep in the bed..... yes I know I am special. I love all the dogs that live here and the kids that come to see me. I do not know what a cat is. I am learning to be house broken , they say I am doing very well. I may look big, but I am just a pup, maybe 5-6 months old. If you love me and will care for me, let me live in the house, call (870) 688-4723. I live in Arkansas, transport to the N.E. can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Harrisburg Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
